Proverbs 28:6

When I was living homeles, I had nothing. Nothing! One summer for a while, I didn't even have shoes and the pavement was burning hot! My mom was angry at me during an awful time when she was on drugs; and back then, me and my dad didn't get along too well. I was disowned by the both of them, pretty much.

But I had a bible! And I learned in the words there that even if my mother and father should abandon me, God will never turn his back! I trusted that word. Today, I don't want for anything. Roof over my head, food in my pantry, a pile of shoes to pick from and I have the ability to help others out now. I still hang onto my bible, and I still trust in it.

So in the above scripture...It was better for me to be poor and walking upright than to be a rich man perverse in his ways.

Hold onto that. Feel it in your hand. It's an amazing gift! Thank you, Jesus! For Your Glory!
