Hi there,
I live in a YMCA hostel, where every one is welcome (“According to the billboard”). I have a couple of friends in the hostel, who are Hindu. They are very my in to their religion. Before they cook in the kitchen they say their Hindu prayers. I believe that they are giving thanks to their spirits or they are inviting them to the building. As Christians we should aware of this unwanted spiritual invitation. I typically don’t start to cook if they are in the kitchen. I enter kitchen once they leave and I pray and ask GOD to sanctify the kitchen. Even when I visit their room, before I go I pray and ask GOD to sanctify their room. When one of my Hindu friends comes to my room and after he leaves I pray and ask GOD to sanctify my room. Apart from their Hindu worship I got nothing to concern about the things that I’m not aware of. I told them that I’m looking for an apartment to share with. They told me about the place that they are about to move in which seems likes a bargain considering the rent and location. The only two thing that spiritually worries me that there will be five people living in that apartment and all of them are Hindu and can they be trusted. Is it GOOD for a Christian to live with Hindu, while I’m worshiping my heavenly father and in the next room they worship Satan and his co-hordes? Cheers |

Well that depends. What is the will of God in this? Pray and ask Him. You will know not in your head but deep down in your innermost being you will know the answer. If it is His will then you could be the only light to shine in that spiritual darkness. If it is not then it will cause only grief. Ultimately my brother if we seek His will and lay everything else down we will not go wrong or be lead astray.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Many blessings in His Name, brother Larry.

Unless God tells you to do this, IMO I dont think its a good idea.
