Does Bush claim to be a Christian?

I have watched George W Bush pray on Christian TV.
He certainly does claim to be born again, and is one of the reasons I have supported him even though I havent agreed with all of his decisions. Here in the UK you are virtually slime if you support Bush, so it is quite a hard thing to do. |

I think he is evil along with his father and grandfather. If they've been doing to the world what it seams they have, then I would never support him. Of course he's going to be deceptive. If he was a true Christian it should show. He can "pray" all he wants...
this has me wondering about Ron Paul now. Won't everyone embrace the anti-christ, love him and think he's just the best and the ultimate solution? everyone loves Ron Paul and he seams to be the best choice to elect. I'm not in the US though, and don't know about the Presidents and what they're promising. I do feel though, that Bush has and will have something to do with the set up for bad things that are forshadowed in the Bible. There's something fishy about him.

Mark while I completely disagree with you that is not the point of my writing here. CFS has a specific rule against political posting unless you are referring directly to bible prophecy.

The revelation of the ineffable name "I Am who Am" contains then the truth that God alone IS. The Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, and following it the Church's Tradition, understood the divine name in this sense: God is the fullness of Being and of every perfection, without origin and without end. All creatures receive all that they are and have from him; but he alone is his very being, and he is of himself everything that he is.
God, "He who is," revealed himself to Israel as the one "abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." These two terms express summarily the riches of the divine name. In all his works God displays not only his kindness, goodness, grace, and steadfast love, but also his trustworthiness, constancy, faithfulness, and truth. "I give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness." He is the Truth, for "God is light and in him there is no darkness"; "God is love," as the apostle John teaches.
