Blasphemy law removed

Yesterday the law of blasphemy was removed from Britians law books.

Man can remove mans laws but he cannot remove Gods laws!

Blasphemy laws were set up to protect Christians etc from having their faith ridiculed and mocked, they are worthy laws that God honours.

Interesting.

The pericope for tomorrow is John 11. The raising of Lazarus from the tomb.
This is an excerpt from the sermon I prepared for morning service...

You see, people are much easier to manage, to govern, when they believe that they are “Limited” insignificant. Nothing special at all.

When they believe that there is nothing special about the Bible,..It’s just a book.
There is no God, Universes just spring up from time to time by random chance.
You’re nothing more than some highly evolved species of primate, the end result of primordial pond scum.

So don’t go getting any ideas, about being special, about being important, about being significant in the eyes of an Almighty God!

Some will attack this thing we call “Prayer”, Some will say, “You need to stop doing that. In fact, we’re going to take that out of the schools, and public events, See, that might offend someone and that’s not very good for our attendance.

And these 10 Commandments, that we see posted out in front of courthouses and legal institutions, You see, the first three mention God, and we told you already there is no God,

And this one here, about coveting your neighbors wife, You see, the largest corporations in the world deal directly with adult entertainment, magazines and movies, and that one isn’t so good for their business.

And all this stuff about coveting your neighbors possessions, you see, well, that’s not so great for our free market economy. Because, we really need people to buy things they don’t necessarily need.

So…these commandments need to go too.
But don’t worry, we’ll let you know what you can and cannot, think say and do.
