stairway to heaven

we at work have been having a problem with a very large stairway.the lads have called it the stairway to heaven.been trying hard to make straight.i think i will christen it paul when finished,started off bad,but good at the end.

funny you should put that picture there.2 little birds sitting on a wall 1 named peter 1 named paul,fly away peter fly away paul,come back peter come back paul.just wondering if peter and paul are the 2 coming back at the end.

and thats another coincidence ,my very good pet died,we buried it and the plant that grew from the remains by accident was called jacob,s ladder.the spirit is here tonight.

loads of questions,i wonder if they are in scripture.?this might be a good group challenge,to find from scripture who the 2 prophets will be.

You mean the two witnesses in Revelation? Many believe it will be Elijah & Enoch...the only 2 people that the Bible indicates never died.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

2 Kings 2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Neither one died...they were so close to God that He just took them...

a good theory,but they talk truth of christ,so it,s either 2 from old testament telling old testament people about christ,or it,s 2 new testament people proving christ,s word,or even 1 of each?to show father and son.

could be a good group subject

Both Enoch and Elijah were strong men of God and close friends of God.
They would have easily recognized Jesus was the Messiah.
I believe that it was be Enoch and Elijah who are the two witnesses.
We know for sure that one of them is Elijah.
Malachi 4:5
"Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD"
