You are right. In our eyes the people dieing from hunger doesn't seem fair. But look at the reasons they are starving. Its their sin. Not living out Gods blueprint. Not looking after their land, their resourses, their birthcontrol, Greed of the government, following false gods and religions.
We were created with free will. Sometimes that gets us into deathly circumstances of our own doing. That makes it Godly fair if not fair in human eyes. A present day unfolding of Gods fair and just ways is the United States of America. They take God from their school, their workplaces, their government. They allow same sex marriages, crimes against Christians and don't stand up to anti semetism, allow abortions etc. They are pushing God out of the picture and he is saying " OK I'm stepping down" Canada is not far behind. |

I was reading about Jonah the other day - God told him to do something, but Jonah didn't think it was fair that the enemy should receive God's gift of salvation and grace; so he turned and went the other way. He spent time inside a whale to think about this. After he was vomitted up on shore, Jonah went and did what he was supposed to do: call on his enemies to repent and receive the Lord.
God saved Jonah's enemies, forgave them. Jonah didn't think this was fair. God is Just. Infinite healing and mercy and good. He accepts apologies no matter who it comes from. But in Jonah's eyes...it wasn't fair that his enemies should be forgiven so easily. ![]() Personally, I wouldn't argue with God. That would be scary.

God is fair. Sin and corruption results in death and suffering- all those things were brought about by mankind's disobedience. Only the grace of God keeps any of us from receiving what is really fair- an eternity in hell.

my interpretation of the meanings
justice -that each is judged according to his works and punishment or reward given fairness- that each is treated equally God does not distribute gifts equally, to some He gives much, to others little, some have pleasant lives, other live in misery, so, as such, God is not fair, people are not equal in virtue any more than they are equal in shoe or hat size God does promise justice though |

do you think God likes people suffering,i think not.if God was like that then i would have no God.people suffer because they don,t have God,and the twist is not knowing themselves there god is then satan who makes them suffer,he enjoys humans in pain.
