As I mentioned once, my husband and I are planning on visiting England and France the first of May. I'd like to see how close any of you from Britain to where we will be going. So, if you could PM me as to where you live, it would be so cool to meet somewhere inbetween. I don't want to impose on anyone, but I really want to make an effort to do this. Also, if any of you have an idea of a must-see, please let us know. Our plans are not solidified yet, as we are traveling "Space Available" thru military flights.

Hey James That brings back fond memories for me as years ago I lived in Inverness. Beautiful country and wonderful friendly people.. I still remember the heather on the hills .... What a sight.

I LOVE Inverness. For over 2 years I flew up there once a month in order to teach a Christian Counselling Course to people from a lot of the churches up there. Lovely place, friendly people fabulous scenery.

HA I live just 14 miles from Inverness.

I never cared about the scenery till God showed me it, funny that.

When you live somewhere you take it for granted but flying up from Gatwick the contrast was so fabulous I could not help noticing.
