I do not think art qualifies as worshipping a graven image or another God. It is of course just art Pam and I would certainly not bend my knee to a picture. In fact no living man even knows what Jesus really looked like.


Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deu 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
Deu 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
The seventh and the eighth verses are clearly meant to be understood in the light of the ninth. You cannot put a puzzle togeather in the wrong order and nor can you get the whole picture with pieces missing.
