And there have been a few people on death row who found Jesus and did wonderful things to help get others saved with their testimony. There was one not too long ago, I don’t remember his name, but a lot of people were trying to save his life and switch him over to life in prison because he was helping so many people. It didn’t work though and now he is gone. He ended up confessing that he was the guilty one and he deserved to die for what he did. The loss of a life is always a bad thing to someone. Everyone on death row has someone who loves them.

the question is the same,we are all sinners, from one extreme to another, the ones who don,t exept being a sinner or justify there sins, they then deny Jesus.even murderers etc who have been used by the spirit of evil and know they do wrong and repent their sins, can be saved, without repenting you cannot be saved.Jesus tells us this.

An eye for an eye.
Then again...say someone out there does something awful - too bad to ever be forgiven. A jury sentences him and he gets the death penalty. In God's eyes...because we've punished him for his sin, is the man's sin wiped out? Paid for in full because we brought him to justice (instead of the Lord)? We got our justice by killing him, putting him far away from us. That was his punishment. Does it mean that he'll no longer see the flames from the lake of fire? Or have we sent him to the lake of fire faster than was intended. Vengence is mine, says the Lord. If someone does something very bad to us or anybody else - so bad that we couldn't forgive that person, aren't we supposed to leave that up to the Lord? He'll take vengence on our behalf? Eventually? Thou shalt not kill. That little dot at the end of the sentence means that this thought is complete. No add-ons. No revisions. No what-ifs. Personally, I think that life is given by the Lord - and He's the only one with the right to take it back. And punish.

For the record, I support the death penalty and am proud to live in a state that enforces it.
![]() Since people want to know Biblically if it should be supported or not, I looked up some info in google about what scriptures are given to support it. I haven't read through the links, but here you go. I have not attended a church that preaches either way on the issue.
