Interesting...

In our language (Ichishkiin Sahaptin) it would be Niix Maitsq'i, good day. Niix patchwai, good afternoon.

Strangely enough, there is no word in our language that means "Thank you" directly. You have to use a combination of words.

Also, there are no words of profanity in Ichishkiin.

Shalom, everybody!!!

Thanks, guys - I know there's no such thing as a stupid question...it's just that there's some things in the world that everybody else seems to know or understand and I have no clue...

You know what I mean? Like the stock market...what's that all about? Did I miss that day in class? Everybody else understands it and wants to keep up with it...but it's all Ancient Hebrew to me.

Cars. Other guys see an old car drive by and say something like "That's an awesome Olds GTX with hyperdrive turbo something-or-other!" And the other guys will say yeah - and look at those (insert technical talk here). "That's a '69, isn't it?" Other guy will say, no...that's a 68. The 69's didn't have the (insert even more technical talk here).

Yeeesh, I must have missed that day in class too!

But I can tell you about corinthian, doric, and ionic columns! I can take apart a computer and put it back together better than it was before! I can probably make Hannibal Lecter cry by chosing some choice words for him!

There's just those average things that I have no clue about...? And everybody in the world seems to understand them but me.

Hey little brother

NO STUPID QUESTIONS

I didn't know exactly what Shalom meant either other than Peace

His Many Songs, Thanks ... From now on I am not saying, How you doing baby ? or Hello/Goodby sweetie, OK! Goodby baby, see you tomorrow, when I'm speaking to my friends...

It's now a Blessing pronounced ....~SHALOM~ to us all!~ Thank You Judy

I'm the same way about cars. I know basic models, but not much beyond that. Stock market. All I know is buy low, sell high.

We all have our areas of expertise.
