Matthew 24:11

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

• Cruise 'is Christ' of Scientology- TOM Cruise is the new “Christ” of Scientology, according to leaders of the cult-like religion. The Mission: Impossible star has been told he has been “chosen” to spread the word of his faith throughout the world. And leader David Miscavige believes that in future, Cruise, 44, will be worshipped like Jesus for his work to raise awareness of the religion. A source close to the actor, who has risen to one of the church’s top levels, said: “Tom has been told he is Scientology’s Christ-like figure. “Like Christ, he’s been criticized for his views. But future generations will realize he was right.”
• The Secret The book - This is a good example of one of the many deceptions coming which cater to the desire for physical things. It is discussed on ProphecyNewsWatch and that is where these excerpts came from. This shows the antichrist of self-focus, worship of self as god.
  • Serengeti: My friend has the book "The Secret" and I just had the chance to check out this book. She believes it brings her closer to God. That it teaches that God is energy. Here is what the lighthouse reports and I checked it out it says exactly that. I told her the book is wrong. "We are the creators not only of our own destiny but also of the Universe ... We are all connected, and we are all One" (p. 175). "No matter who you thought you were, now you know the Truth of Who You Really Are. You are the master of the Universe. You are the heir to the kingdom. You are the perfection of Life" ( p. 183). "You are God in a physical body ... You are all power ... You are all intelligence ... You are the creator" ( p. 164). We are co-creators of our life with God. We are both creating and being created at the same time. The universe is not some magic genie that's says, "Your wish is my command," bringing you any car, house, or amount of money you desire. The Secret does not exist to satisfy your every wish but to help us become the kind of people God can use to make His ultimate wish come true - Heaven on Earth and inside each one of us.
  • Other one: I shelled out the five bucks and just watched the silly movie. It is basically a seminar on achieving your wants and needs.... It's basically telling you that you create your future by what you think and feel today. If you dwell on all the bad things in your life, you are basically attracting more of the same for your future. The secret is the power of attraction. What you vision for yourself and actually feel the goodness of the visions of your future will be made manifest in your future........ You create your own future..... no god, no spiritual higher power, just you and your mind which is capable of making anything you visualize come to pass. So Rock, if you really feel good about Victoria's secret, you can easily incorporate that into your future. There are some basic themes that are not completely false about the secret, but overall it's such an Anti-God process that it's beyond blasphemous. But people do tend to make their futures by what they dwell on (self fulfilling prophecy's) that there "seems" to be some ring of truth to this "secret". I can see how people like Oprah will take it to to the spiritual level and do much harm to people. But I also agree with the secret that we should not dwell on negative all the time, for it effects how we think and do..... which really does affect our futures. Now it getting you a new bike as one kid in the seminar..... or the sexy looking wife of your dreams..... well, I just can't buy into all that. It basically says that you can create your own being by the power of your mind...... make things in the world happen just by visualizing them and feeling very good those thoughts and visions..... its the feeling good about it that gives it the power to be made manifest. To an extent the things we experience tomorrow are affected by what we do today, and a good attitude helps tremendously....... but creating or making manifest things to get by the power of your mind........ whoooo boy, that's taking things way way out there. It has the potential of being the next big movement from the same old story of "you decide what's right and wrong for you and you make your own destiny.

How do we know antichrists?

1 John 2:17-26
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
