I have committed severe sins during past two months and I have confessed them to GOD and asked for forgiveness when I did that my heart felt so light weight. In the mean time if I offended people I personally apologized to them. Especially at my work place, on my day of resignation from work I said good bye to every one and I personally apologized to people whom I offended. I felt like I was cleansed and I felt my mind and heart light weighted.

But recently, the sins that I have already confessed such as the things that I said to people at my work place to offend them are coming back to my mind again. The freighting thing is for me is, in my mind I swear at people, label them, judge them and some times I say things to them to displease GOD and if it’s GOD’S will he will strike me to death on the spot for the things that I say. Those things come to my head in random times with temptation. So basically all the confessions that I have made and all the cleansing that I have received are useless because I re-commit the same sin.

If I recommit a sin especially after a confession and cleansing should I re-confess to god those repeated sins or should I ask for a general forgiveness without a confession?

This repetition of sin that I do especially related to people are a real problem to me, I don’t know how to stop it?

Please give me some advice!

we can,t control what comes into our heads.we can control what we say and do.i question my thoughts daily,i have learned to understand the fight is not what you hear in your mind but how to dissmiss it.the way i see it these thoughts are to keep us down.so i just dissmiss them i know who i,am.

Yes, always confess the sin again, especially if it is a serious sin. This will help your humility, and it is good to examine our consciences often. At least you recognize your problem. This may be something you struggle with for a long time, but God will give you the grace to overcome it. People are tempted with different things. Some people are tempted by big sins, some are tempted by small sins. Both serve to give the person humility, perseverance, and patience.
