What are you going to do with it?
One of the questions I like to think about, but don’t often enough, is this… “Son, I have given you my Word, what are you going to do with it”? Well… what am I going to do with it? What can I do with it? That, my friends, is a very good question. I should ask myself that question every day. The last time I counted, I had 9 Bibles. There are some days I don’t even pick up one of them. I have the complete Bible on CD in the KJV and the NT in the NIV, three Bibles installed on my computer, but yet, some days I don’t look at or listen to any of them. Sometimes I think satan just sneaks through the back door somehow. It’s a choice I have to make every day. Some days, I make the wrong choice. I don’t know when my last day on this earth is going to be. I would like to hope I don’t waste it. If it came right down to it and just before I went to sleep God spoke to me and told me that I’m not going to wake up in the morning… would I be proud of the things I did that day? Would I ask God for another chance to relive that day and do things differently? Would I want to relive that day so I could do more? Or would I just smile and say “thank you Lord“, and peacefully fall asleep, knowing I did something good with His Word that day? For those of you who don’t know me very well, and I think that may be all of you, that was one of my thinking out loud sessions. I sometimes write down my thoughts and share them with someone, and I think I’ll share them with all of you today. I just stopped home for lunch and decided to do this instead of eat. So… what are you going to do with it? Have a blessed day Dean

Dean, very good question and something we should all think about and act upon. Searching for answers through prayer.

Dean..... We are all like that some days and you are no different. That is our humanism getting in the way. Sometimes other things do come in the way of my routine and if I have not done my reading in the morning other stuff cramps out our intentions. Do not be discouraged as we become more aware , that is when we discipline ourselves to do what we need to do and what is best for us and yes it is true that satan does not want us to prosper in the things that are spiritual and he will throw all kinds of obsticles in the way but if we resist his tempataion he will have to run. But you and I know that he does not want us to read and pray and he will attack.
Blessing to you my brother.
