Default Need advice

I have been thinking for a long time to go into preaching, my pastor has been encouraging me, but I kept avoiding it and running away from church. Then about a month back, I accepted it, but then I thought 'Who am I?' Is god denominational. I found my answers.

Then I thought, how would i support myself. I have a great future as an Network Administrator. So I decided to be like Paul.

I did not want to charge any church for my preaching. I mean I did not want to take any offerings on preaching gods word, they were given to me free and It is my duty distribute it free to others.

So I thought that, I could give computer training to the congregation of the church I visit. I could teach Microsoft Office and Christian Ubuntu.( A free operating system, with a bible software and porn filter etc)

I plan to travel to different countries, preaching and teaching. I am not sure if this would be a practical idea. I have a wife and kid in India and currently I work abroad.

Please advise, I am so confused.

Even the Apostles took contributions to support themselves and their ministries. A typical church costs money to run- electricity, rent or laon note, supplies, etc. God's Word declares to the people that we should not muzzle the ox that turns the mill. A worker in Christ is worthy of support- soemtimes our pride can keep us from receiving the provisions and blessings God has for us thru others. We can also rob them of the chance to be a blessing. This is of course my opinion but I truly believe you should approach thsi subect carefully and prayerfully.
Blessing in His Name, Larry.

Please advise, I am so confused.

1Ti 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.

Honor
G5092
τιμή
timē
tee-may'
From G5099; a value, that is, money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself: - honour, precious, price, some.

You can’t argue with the Bible. The word “double” is self explanatory. And the word “honor” says you are worthy of being paid, whether it be a salary or a free will offering. So don’t feel bad about being paid for preaching.

I truly feel for you and understand what you are asking. I'm still trying to figure out not only the "HOW?" but also the specifics of the "WHAT". Until then, I'm just keeping my eyes wide open.

You can give your testimony no matter where you go in life However if people don't have a preacher who will teach them? Which ever way you go with this, GOD is with you!

If they don't have a preacher, who is going to teach them? If you feel bad about accepting the salary then put it to a good use. God knows our world needs more people willing to give to charities and organisations like feed the children in africa

I think I got my answer. Yes I will not rob them out of their blessings. I could make it of good use by opening free education centers in my country. Thanks for the answer.
