I cannot believe what they are doing these days.
School is supposed to be a place of learning where children learn to read, write, do mathematics, and more - now they are turning it into a sexually-orientated school where they are trying to stop people from saying "mom" and "dad" or "husband" and "wife". They've taken God out of schools - you cannot even pray or SPEAK of God anymore. It seems like everyone hates God and His teachings. I am so glad I was taken out of Public School at the RIGHT time. Now, I look at these public schools and I just see evil in them. They're teaching these kids things at an early age and they are believing it. I can't wait for God to come because sooner or later, it's going to get really bad.

I think, unless you have a child in public school, you would tend to believe that. If your kids went to private (Christian) school all their lives, then they'd also have that idea. That public school sucked. But, in reality, some public schools are not bad at all. My son is a teacher, well actually a full-time sub right now, and he said he really enjoys it because most of the kids are pretty polite and not at all what he expected them to be like at this point, with all the negative talk about them.
Of course, when he was in public school, we lived in Salem, OR, and there were gangs, police at the doors, and even a murder once. Oh, yes, and plenty of drugs and girls were taken to Planned Parenthood on Thursdays if they needed abortions. That's why we moved to a small town in Iowa, where the schools are still decent. What if all the Christians pulled their kids out of public school? Then, maybe the schools would be in a mess, but a lot depends on the teachers who are hired too. Some of them are also Christians. I don't know what the answer is for the bad schools, but I don't think parents should take their kids out just because of what they've been told. I think parents should get more involved. Like they used to be and stop giving control to the radical groups to take over. We do have rights you know, we simply need to step up and take them. Get on the school board. Try loading it with Christians. What do you think? |

This world will only get worse as time gets shorter. The greater the sin the more the grace will shine in us, the greater tha darkness the more our light will be seen to God's glory.

I guess it depends on the public school you went to, but overall I would agree with Sweet Surrender, people make public schools to be far worse than they actually are. I went to a private school for elementary school, and i feel that is good for giving you a good strong foundation, but at the same time it shelters you from the real world, which is a good thing only to a certain limit, since eventually you will confront it either way. Also, it gives you a chance to be a great example to those other students. Plus, unless you are willing to dish out big money, most of the time you will get a better education in a public school at the high school level rather than a private school. Many people tend to believe the opposite, but it is true. My mother is a college professor, and usually (not all of the time) the private/home school students tend to do much worse than public school students. So if you are private or home schooled that is fine, but public schools are not nearly as bad as many make them out to be.

The public schools I went to were a battle to stay healthy but now guns and drugs are rampant. The level of education has been lowered so all will have an opportunity to pass. Onre the surface that might sound ok but our schools are graduating chilren who cannot read and write over a 6th grade level. By not challenging them we are leeting them down and they are in for a rude awakening as they hit the job market unprepared.
My cousin wanted to be a teacher and help kids. He took a job in an inner city school, the kids in his class were a minimum 2 years behind their grade level. The principle warned him not to fail those kids as it maight damage their self esteem.Argh. Ni wonder America can no longer compete, After decades of miserable failure the government imposed leap tests. Most of the teachers locally couldn't pass them let along the students. These kids simply needed to read and write at an 8th grad level to pass but most failed. Do you think the parents wanted their kids to learn? Most of them began protesting that the test were an unfair burden- very sad. If my kids graduated and could not read or write I would not know how to contain my anger. Guns, murder, drugs, sex, homosexual agenda, planned parenthood giving birth control to 11 year olds and to much more to list. The public school system needs to be scrapped and replaced, throwing money in it has proven a waste. Reading, writing and arithmatic- we need to get back to baiscs. Then there is the general anti christ doctrines taught in public schools. The goverment took God out of the schools and now the kids are acting in ungodly fashion- no surprise there- again very sad, |

Therefore the religion of SH is totally free to operate and particularly against the competing religion of Christianity - which has been banned by the SH crowd. The ACLU is the SH's best friend as they have terrorized the school system with threats of law suits to keep them in line with the hidden agenda of SH. This is the basis of all of our anti God and morality problems in the Government monopoly school systems. |
