My journey is a really long one which one day I hope to write a book

I am divorced and have a 15 year old daughter who lives with her father back in PA .. me in NY.. she is about hour and half. anyway we have a very open relationship. We have talked so much openly about everything including sex. She called me this past week-end and during conversation stated another girl in her school was pregnant. This makes 12 in the past 2 years.. a small rurual school.

After we got off the phone, I thought man with all the technology there is. there has just got to be like a teen hotline kids can call for prayer or support when they find themselves in situations where they should not be because so many do not want to call their parents or feel they cannot. Anway I typed in teen hotline in the search bar. It brought up several links, the first 3 really did not have what I was looking for. I clicked on the 4th one and what did I see- a horrible, horrible image.. this link to me to a porn tube site! It was naked images of young girls!
What really got me was one image of a young girl who looked about my daughter's age with a couple about mid 40's. It was horrific!

I sat there and bawled and prayed. I know that I cannot save my daughter from ever having to go on such a path, but I know Jesus can. I know I can show my daughter by my walk and my faith, I know I can pray for my daughter and all other young girls. I know I can pray for all women who for whatever reason have gone done such a path. How awful it must be to not feel loved that one finds there acceptance by turning to such actvity.

I have not had the most pleasant journey of life. I had turned to relationships to think that I could find my love there. As said in other posts, since finding Jesus, I always feel loved.

I know that the Lord is going to use the brokedness of my path and all I went through to help show young women, women of all ages.. that there truly is Love for them. I have always said, if I could just save one woman going through what I went through in life it would be so worth it.. I have learned that I cannot save that one woman, Jesus can.. but I sure can help lead her to him.

This is why I am here.. to learn, to know the word, to have my questions answered.. to strengthen my walk. to see the Lord's will for my life.. not my will.. his will.

I know he won't move a parked car.. it is up to me to take steps.. I find my way here.. Today I met with my Pastor and called about volunteering at the local teenage pregancy crisis center.. I am going to take the steps to put myself in situations where there are young women.. as I do so . I just know in my heart, the Lord will speak to me where I need to be.

There is nothing good about porn of any kind. Period!
You might try asking around if there is a crisis pregnancy center in your town. there is one here in Monroe,NC that cuoncels young mothers,sngle mothers, andy women who has become pregnant for what ever reason. It is an awesome christian ministry.

If thee isn't one near your area, then maybe you could contact this ne ad they could help you and the local churches there start one up.

Amazing that you thought of that. Saw my Pastor and he gave me name and number of a center within 30 min. of here.
I called today! and they are sending me application to Volunteer. and they may be opening one here within a few months in my town!

There are just too many young women out there hearing that abortions will keep them from ruining their lives just because of one single mistake. Your time and love for those young women in your area will change their lives, as well as possibly saving many lives that otherwise could be lost.
