I go to church in Norwalk Connecticut, a guest preacher came in from New Haven. His name was Justin W (something sorry I can't recall)
But he is a missionary who had done some time in South Africa and the miracles he spoke of were simply unbelievable. Just to name a few: curing cancer, healing scars, growing back limbs, healing the crippled. A man was martyred in Zimbabwe for preaching and was raised from the dead after being poisoned and beaten. After he was raised, faith also put feeling back into his arm and repaired his collaped lung. It is relieving to know thousands are being delivered in places where they need it desperately. Kidneys are being healed, weight is being lost just by hearing the word. Broken bones and dislocations are being popped back into place. Even here in connecticut, people have testified to forces of nature reacting to the spoken Word of God. From plants growing, to the wind blowing, to rain pouring. He claims that the only thing holding us back from doing these "greater works" promised by Jesus, is our love. We must love one another, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless-

These are the kinds of news that I really enjoy hearing about. These are testimonies to Jesus and the Kingdom of God that remind me to do something small to strengthen my own faith today.
When all of the glory is given to God, and a man isn't doing good works and spreading the word that it's by his own hands, that's when I can see God working in lives. It's a brick in the kingdom! ![]() Thanks for sharing this. |

Watchman .... A very timely reminder as we have lost all of these miracles because as you said because of" love". as we know love conquers all and when we have God's love we have faith that can move mountains. Why are we not seeing these miracles in U.S. and Canada ?

Certainly some things can be imitated by Satan, but some of these sound like true miracles.
Praise God if they really happen. But I also must ask you, do you trust this guy? I believe miracles can happen, but at the same time, they're are people who lie about these types of things. |

The church I attend is trying to learn this and we have had a message and interpretation of God telling us if we will have complete faith in Him, we will have miracles in 2008. I'm expecting it with all my heart. In third world countries like the Middle-east or Africa, they're aren't brought up on the mindset we are today and are more willing to let go of anger and the do-it-yourself mindset and thus God can do a work in them. I firmly believe that America needs as many missionaries as Africa. America has been lead away by the harlot church (in GREAT numbers) and the prosperity message is a "normal" message now days. We need to get back to the basics and learn them and then we can get in the Bible deeper. And my message to harlot churches, PLEASE give up the prosperity message, it's not doing anyone good. It's only putting the congregation in the false hope that if they give $100 they will get their blessing. You cannot buy God out. (Though tithes given to a true church is Biblical.) |

I've heard about these miracles as well. The only reason we don't see more here, is because too many people deny God's power, he is well able to heal, if we just believe. I have seen miracles in my own personal life, my step-father had a stroke 10 years ago and they told us he wouldn't last through the night, he had his 81st birthday last year. My mom went into a coma for over a week and the doctors all said she would never come out, but there were a lot of people praying for her and she's fine now and that was over 3 years ago. Miracles do happen!

I do believe in miracles. but I believe it is all according to his will..He doesn't choose to heal everyone and it isn't because of a lack of faith or because of their sin. I know faithful people who truly love the Lord who have not been healed..
One thing I always wonder about is..If you believe that God can heal everyone, if they have enough faith and little sin (we all will sin until the day God takes us home) Why then do people die..We will not be cured of whatever we die from. We will not live forever. The only thing that can keep us from experiencing physical death is the Rapture. Every time someone dies, does it mean they had little faith? I don't think so. I think many of these healers are not telling of the times that healing didn't work. Just food for thought ![]() |

In heaven we can live on forever because we will be with the Perfect One and walk forever in his ways. But on earth instead of clinging to God, we are often tempted by the world and may even give in. For this reason, man cannot remain in the body forever in a fallen world
