I've heard the speculation that the other books were the stories of their lives. Everything they ever did or said or thought. Wow! If it werent for the cleansing blood of Jesus, I'd be worried about that!

To my knowledge yes. The main thing is that when accept Christ we are written in the Lamb's book of life. If the book of life contains the roles of those found in Christ perhaps the others contain those who reject Christ but that and any other guess is just speculation!
