It is refering to the inner man and not the organ.

1Pe 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

That's exactly right Jax my sister. The two are separated, physical and spiritual and the world talks about the heart in a different way than we as believers do.
