I have a sense of humor, even if it is rather deadpan. But, the tree joke just does not work. In short form: "Chopped down trees make greenhouse gases. So, shouldn't we chop down the trees to protect ourselves from greenhouse gases?"

Perhaps that is the true question at hand.

Myself, I would dispute that argument, even after reading the article.
(Not that I believe everything I read on the internet.)

My point is that Co2 is helpful to plants and therefore an increase (within reason) to Co2 is beneficial to mankind.

I would disagree with the belief that trees are harmful and should be reduced in number.

My understanding is that trees do NOT produce greenhouse gasses, rather they produce oxygen. I think this article (a rather uneducated rhetoric) is a falsehood.

People fail to comprehend the tiny, tiny percentage of greenhouse gasses produced by the burning of fossil fuels.

One small volcano in a few days produces more than all of mankind can in centuries.

Since we have so many American "Scientists" jumping on the Global Warming bandwagon it indicates that our credibility is also lacking as well. Science is not consensus.

But seriously Bo - one of the things that they pointed out in the movie is where Al Gore shows a graph of the CO2 levels through history (ice samples - from drilling) and it follows the surface temperature closely. His conclusion was that the CO2 is causing the temperature to rise in step with the CO2 levels. The scientists say this is backwards. The solar flares are causing the temperature to vary and the Co2 levels are following the temperature. Big difference.

Global warming is just a money make scheme for our governments, well, money wasting scheme for our government who recently wasted over a billion squid!
Its just making more people live in fear, our governments our the real terrorists.

The so called "ice age" that happened billions of years ago according to scientists is half true.
After Noahs flood, is when the Ice age came, around 4000 years ago, I should find the verses to support this.
All thats happening today is the Ice at the north and south of the earth is just melting, thats all, the sea isn't getting warmer.
There was a scientific experiment recently, info was gathered over a 5 year period, the sea hasn't risen in temperature in 5 years... its all scare tactics.
