Pollution benefits no one. But remember most of the "harmful gasse" in the atmosphere are naturally occurring.

I guess we need to start chopping down all the trees in order to save the planet from destruction. Since there is no God to do it - it's up to us to adapt and survive. And if we don't do something soon we will all be doomed. I'm so afraid.

Trees bad for the ecology?

Trees overwhelmingly remove greenhouse gases from the air. So, it makes for a pretty lame joke to suggest that we need to chop down trees to protect ourselves from greenhouse gases. It gets even lamer when you consider that its chopped down trees that produce the greenhouse gases being joked about.

What about the fact that trees and other plants that use photosynthesis require Co2 in order to grow.

Therefore, the more Co2 we produce benefits the plant life on the planet.

The natural bi-product of lush green plants is Oxygen, and so a major argument in favor of "global warming" is flawed as it would in fact create more oxygen and not less.

Uh, what's the amount of oxygen got to do with anything?

Not so much the O2 level, but the Co2 level.

Higher concentrations of Co2 are beneficial to plants.
More Co2 = more plants.
Higher yielding crops, fuller, more lush trees and vegetation, all of which contribute greatly to food production and to oxygen production.

Have a sense of humor.
Besides plankton are scientifically known to reduce CO2 on a vastly larger scale than trees and grass.
