Now, Smellycat, remember how you said in other threads that we need to ban together and take action as Christians.
Each one of us HAS to try to make a difference. Love, V |

My ideas are that God created us and this world so it is our job to take care of our world and others.
Genesis 2:20 says, "And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;" Genesis 1:26-30 reads," And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. " I have learned in my biology class that as followers of God, ones who are made in His image, we need to look after and care for the rest of His creation. This means recycling and looking out for our rainforests. But I beleve this is also an issue between people's personal opinions and politics. Sometimes we can go over the edge with ideas of using one piece of toilet paper per restroom use or making dirt roofs for our houses. Sometimes we dont look at other more important issues such as poverty or abortion. An example I have are those fancy schmancy pet hotels. They will pamper your pets for $500 a night or something. This money could be put to good use against poverty problems or for a soup kitchen or homeless people. Just a thought.... wow sorry I tend to babble I guess this isn't totally environmentally related but it all fits into our world somehow right? ~Sarah~

I agree with the original post. I prefer organic natural foods, and I use herbs over medications. I reversed diabetes naturally without the aid of medications.

Jon-Marc,
We switched to olive oil about 8 years ago. It will not clog your arteries so in the longrun it is well worth the cost! One of those things I consider an investment! ![]() |
