These stats are not made up either. But they may not be really accurate because I only recently started to use Google analytics and this is the latest browser report it gave me. Oh by the way, you should try this tool. Its awesome. Love the graphics.

I believe it. And I have google analytics and google sitemaps on some of my stuff. The reason why IE is more popular is because it comes with every Windows OS when you buy the computer and most people who own computers barely know enough about it to run programs and get on the internet. I am shocked at how many do not even have virus protection

Firefox version 2.0.0.3 is our choice here. We also HAVE TO use I.E.-7 at times to run some of the weather analysis software, but since first using Firefox a couple years ago, we have yet to have a "lockup", "blue screen of death", or an "error' report"... that I.E.-7 is famous for.

If Microsoft administration were not so arrogant, perhaps their 'image' in the computing world would be a bit better, however, with their mindset of Global Domination, they have a poor reputation... and getting worse each year. Many persons do not know that the software writers of Microsoft software, including the browser software, often include code in the program that does absolutely nothing, but are private messages back and forth to other software writers as an insider's joke. (I first saw those in Windows 95). Actually, the only 'joke' is Microsoft software...

We used to use Netscape and when that was taken over by the Mozilla Foundation and converted/updated into Firefox, we were pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Nice to see a David and Goliath situation here where a 'little guy' takes on the giant.

I'm downloading Firefox now.

Edit: I downloaded it but it won't load any webpages. I have re-installed it and I still have the same problem... Anybody else have it when they first downloaded firefox?

Go into the TOOLS tab at the top of the screen. Then hit OPTIONS.

Go through all the top headers: [Main]...[Tabs]...[Content]...[Feeds]...[Privacy]...[Security]... and [Advanced]... one at a time and make certain that the settings correspond roughly to those in Internet Explorer. DO NOT DISABLE COOKIES!!

See if that helps.
