i think the world doesnt punish you
you have conciquinces for wrong things you do
you steal something you get caught you go to jail
you dont get caught your conscience gnaws at you

Everything we do has consequences both good and bad. We are still paying for the mistakes made in the garden with death and disease. We are however forgiven of God when we confess. Does that negate all consequence? No. If you go out and sleep with someone with aids you can be forgiven but that does not mean you won't die physically from said disease.

I read that the Catholic Church teaches that there is "mortal sin" that can't be forgiven... but that's wrong since God will forgive all sin if you repent...

Actually I found out that it can be forgiven. But I dunno really.

We are saved by grace ( God's unmerited favor) thru faith ( belief and trust in Him) and not of works ( good deeds) lest any man should boast. Do not let religious traditions of man cloud your understanding.

Yes, ESPECIALLY for a sin like this.

Kinda harsh.

Boanerges put it well:

Punishment, no; consequences, yes.

It's very simple realy:

1)----we are forgiven all of our sins, but

2) For the sake of the "consciences" of the Lost
We have to be good examples, so

3) Punishment, for the sins of the Believer, for the sake
of the "Conscience" of the lost, is called "Chastisement,"

4) However, "Chastisement" also exists for You
"Character" growth in Christ as a believer, because

5) God, now regards You as His Child, and will aply "corpal
punnishment" as God knows is best!!!!!!!!!!!!

But God only does so out of Love, and You will find that
God brings You joy and understanding, and love, to help
You, see, and feel, as God's Love will actualy motivate
You to want to be good, more than bad,

If You wrestle with God, as Jacob did, to say, Oh God
please help Me surrender, and Deeply Love, and Surrender
to You, ---so that God will help You defeat Your old
"Flesh" sin nature,

Because if You don't draw near to God, in true and deep affection,
and love, -then the old "flesh" sin nature, will try and take away peace
and sound territory in your life.

May Christ Richly Bless Those Who Truly Love Him, Amen.

Mike.
