THE INNER ROOM - "Learn and Grow - to Maturity". Please read the OP.
The Inner Room is a place of Fellowship for serious Believers who are wanting to LEARN and GROW in Christ - with an aim of one day reaching Scriptural Maturity in Him.
 It is a place of resting in the Lord, of safety and security, and of SHARING together. That is, sharing our lives. Sharing the Lord. Being together. Praying and loving and caring and uplifting each other. The Christian life is NOT AN EASY ONE, and never was intended to be so by our God. For this reason and so that we may both learn AND grow I shall write messages from time to time of the things God has gloriously taught me these past 50 years of walking with Him. By His grace - and by that grace alone - I am a mature Christian. I also know the Scriptures taught to me by the Holy Spirit, and most specifically the New Testament where we all must live our lives since Jesus came to earth. My Dedication: is first to my Lord and Master, then to you who choose to become part of The Inner Room. You can do this actively via posting, or passively by reading. ALL MESSAGES WILL BE ABLE TO BE READ AT ANOTHER PLACE THAT I WILL TELL YOU. Please note that our enemy will fight this thread - he always does - but that's part of the life of a Believer for just so long as we are on the planet and had not gone to be with Him forever. I've done Inner Room threads on other forums. Some of the people from those will join us here. In this brand new year of 2008 may God Himself bless us each one with a NEW knowledge and understanding of Himself that will change our lives FOREVER. UMM... BUT WHO IS THIS BLOKE? A man from Down Under who really DOESN'T much like talking about himself! You can read about me in my Profile. For the purposes of this thread I'll simply add that I'm a gentle, sensitive, mostly quiet man - who is also VERY strong! A contradiction, yes? Seems to be, but that's who He made me. People who know me will tell you that I am very loving and an encourager. I adore helping people. I also simply HAVE to teach - can't help meself! At times I can be a challenge person, i.e., I will challenge others even as God has challenged me. Without being challenged we'll mostly just stay exactly where we are! That's enough. We can share with each other more things as we get closer in our fellowshipping together! MESSAGE #0 *lol* "BUT LORD, IT'S JUST TOO HARD" Ever felt the Christian life is like that? That no matter how hard you try you can't get it to work properly. And you feel frustrated sometimes - and guilty at other times. "I should be doing better than this!" you feel. Well faint not, for this is common! I've been there. We all have. But the question that has to be asked - and answered! - is WHY? What's the problem here? This is SERIOUS! What on earth is going on?? Answers seem quite difficult to find - but I think that's cos we're usually looking in the wrong place. Here's a statement of FACT: the Christian life is not just HARD - it's IMPOSSIBLE! And the sooner we recognise this, the sooner we can really start to LEARN and GROW as God wants us to. It's impossible for US TO LIVE IT. But NOT FOR GOD! What He's waiting for is me to admit that I'm licked, that I've tried - but I just can't do it. Waiting for me to get to this point... then come to HIM for help. These days (it was NOT always so!) I live a successful life in Christ. My Christian life actually WORKS! And if for me, so for you also. Truly! You just need the means to get there, and that I can help you with. But first a warning: this is NOT for the faint-hearted, or the ones who are like the seed that falls on stony ground or among thorns (I dare you to go and read Mark Ch 4:18,19! Don't be THIS. But rather be as in v. 20!!  ) That is, ya gotta be deadly serious about all of this - or be content with the consequences of failing!More to come... - BM and his Lady

If this Inner Room will lead me to the Holy of Holies then I am ready to begin when the group is ready.

If you're meaning getting closer and closer to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, oh yes, definitely possible - depending on how fair dinkum (seriously meaning business) the individual is. Hey Bondman and Lady,
What a great idea. I am ready as well as well to learn and grow together in the Lord Jesus Christ as last night in church we were all challenged not to stay in our boats but to launch out and take risks...... For Jesus that is.... He does not want us to stay in the same place as we were last year . Let this be a year of new oportunities, new adventures with Him, sharing our burdens , praying for one another and most of all growing in His love that He has for us. He is going to do mighty things for us. Praise His name forevermore. Hallalujah !!! Glory to His Name. I feel like dancing.
