Something came to me and made me smile for an uncomfortably long time.

Wouldn't it be amazing to live back when Jesus did and be one of the people who followed him? One of the people who talked to him, asked him questions, and learned first hand from him? It would be such an honor, wouldn't it?! Wouldn't it make you so happy and give you so much hope?!

Well guess what. Jesus IS alive! You ARE one of His disciples following Him! You CAN and already DO talk to Him, ask Him questions, and learn from Him first hand! It IS such an honor! It SHOULD make you SO Happy and give you SO much hope!

This is true VERY LITERALLY. Maybe not so literal to the physical world, BUT we know that's not what matters. The spiritual realm is what matters, and IS the REAL world. And in the REAL world, the previous paragraph is all TRUE, ABSOLUTELY LITERALLY!

He HAS risen and IS with you. Take that more literally than you are even able to. What do I mean? Assume you don't even understand how true it is - because you don't - and strive to achieve a better understanding of how true it is.

And even better, NOW, we have record of His teachings way back when, and know that He has risen. So then, do we not have it even BETTER?

ANOTHER PRAYER REQUEST

SERIOUS!

Oh, dear, I'm sorry to be needing to do this again...

Following nearly losing my life last Thursday (full details in my Blog HERE) with the serious episode I had of accidentally and badly overdoing it, then not being able to get enough oxygen into my blood-stream to keep me alive - well, now I'm not recovering!

We did NOT expect that! My total bodily system is affected, and I am actually losing ground a little each day which is really quite BAD - cos we've known for years that if anything ever happened to 'push me over the limit' I SIMPLY WOULDN'T HAVE ENOUGH LEFT IN THE TANK TO FIGHT BACK, AND WOULD END UP DYING. Sorry to tell it as straight as that, but that's the exact situation at the moment...

I don't believe it's my time to go, and I don't want to leave my ill Beloved. You are our family - we have no one else to constantly and caringly pray for us but you dear people here.

I KNOW that EARNEST PRAYER by serious Believers can and will move God!!! (I suspect it would probably feel pretty fantastic to be part of a major prayer miracle!)

First off, habits are, as we all know, harder to quit, than to start. A habit is said to take 30 days to start.

Second, what is a habit? (Dictionary.com)
1. an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary: the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.
2. customary practice or use: Daily bathing is an American habit.
3. a particular practice, custom, or usage: the habit of shaking hands.
4. a dominant or regular disposition or tendency; prevailing character or quality: She has a habit of looking at the bright side of things.
5. addiction, esp. to narcotics (often prec. by the).
6. mental character or disposition: a habit of mind.
7. characteristic bodily or physical condition.

1. Time in God's Word
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32

2. Prayer
" If you remain in Me, and my word remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish, and you shall have it...in this way you become my disciples. John 14:7-8 (GN)

3. Tithing
So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own. Luke 14:33

4. Fellowship
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
