Patience, patience! One of my writing challenges was on the topic of patience, and Boy! Have I been having to learn how to exercise THAT! ha!

We are patiently waiting for the next installment, Bondman. (hehe, believe that, and I've got a bridge to sell you!)

THE WORLD TODAY

The flooding damage in India sure is a most dreadful situation. It seems like India and nearby countries can't take a trick in recent time. But it's not only S.E. Asia, is it? Fact is, our weather HAS changed (no matter the reason) and if it continues, as seems likely, then life for us all is also changed in a rather major way, with ramifications that have the potential to be INCREDIBLY SERIOUS!

Here in Brisbane, Australia, it now rains differently - just for a couple of minutes then stops. Or most times just lightest possible sprinkles. In fact we're beginning to forget what real rain looks and sounds like, and that's WEIRD!

Our Aussie plants in our garden are behaving differently, e.g., putting out buds - then aborting them. They are also flowering at wrong times and/or 2 or 3 times a year instead of once. Some are even growing differently!

Our Aussie birds are behaving differently, e.g., my favouritest native bird, our reasonably small Brown Honeyeater, with a great range of beautiful calls and an apparent love of life that I just adore - will at times get nectar out of our native flowers HOVERING just LIKE A HUMMINGBIRD!! Incredible! In 45 years of bird observing I've NEVER seen a Brown do this without HAVING TO, ever. Now we're seeing this virtually every day - yet it's totally UNNECESSARY for them to do this!

Our humidity this winter has been different than we've noticed before. It's affected us, and even things round the home because of either too high or too low humidity.

We could easily enough get panicky about all of this. What is doing it? An unexpected change in world weather? Man's treatment of the planet? Or did a large nation do something wrong to cause all this? ONLY GOD KNOWS!!! And He is the ONLY ONE TO TRUST! Not Governments, not ourselves, in fact, nothing and no one on our planet! JUST HIM!!

Our life here is but a MOMENT. But NOTE MOST CAREFULLY that how we live it will AFFECT us in eternity. So to place ourselves specifically and deliberately into His hands is the ONLY way to go! Then even if some worst possible thing were to occur to us, HIS MIGHTY HANDS ARE STILL AT THE HELM, and we are utterly assured of our LIFE IN ETERNITY WITH HIM! - so why would we be CONCERNED? HE IS GOD! Nothing happens but that HE ALLOWS it. SO ENSURE YOU TRULY TRUST HIM, AND BUILD YOUR TRUST IN HIM FOR WHAT MAY BE TO COME.

Love you!

- BM

I've always wanted to see Australia. I understand it has great diversity.
Mountains, plains, lots of coastline.

It would be just different enough from the U.S. to make every day very interesting.

Your "deer" stand up on their hind legs!
The water in the toilet flushes the other direction.
You can get a sun tan in January.

It often amazes me how many people believe that our God would have all of us fit into one tiny little mold.

People often think that we all need to be "This way" and "This way" and that is what God wants.

I say, our God who has created such great diversity, loves diversity.
He loves it so much that he doesn't even make two snowflakes the same.

There was once a time when the earth was watered from the ground. And then God caused it to rain. Talk about "Climate Change!" We have found mammoths in arctic conditions with tropical plants in their mouths. And I can remember when I was young, we had much more snow in the winter than we do now.

It would seem to me, that Gods love for diversity is not limited to you, and me, and the animals, or even limited to snowflakes, rather His great love for diversity even extends to the climate, and beyond.

Let us pray...

Father I give you thanks for the strength and richness you provide to us by giving us so many new experiences. We offer our praise for such magnificent change and diversity in each of our lives.

To you alone be all of the glory.

Continue to guide and to protect us this day and in the days to come. Continue to teach us, and continue to share your love for us in new ways each day. Teach us to love one another and to appreciate our differences, as we learn to appreciate the changes we encounter in our travels, and in our lives.

This we ask in Jesus most precious name.

AMEN.

Thank you.
I'm looking forward to the day our Lord has work for me in Australia.

So far the closest I have been is a can of Foster's Lager.

I think that's actually quite funny, CS! I'm an Aussie born and bred, right, but as a tee-totaller all of my life I have never been even remotely near a can of Fosters!

I am, however, a Australian Vegemite lover, and have eaten that on bread and butter, or toast, all of my life!! Really good gear! (It's partly a bi-product from beer-brewing, but totally non-alcoholic.) Which reminds me that just a few days ago I happened to catch a short snippet on TV where an Aussie was apparently introducing an American to the joys of Vege. on toast. The look on the American's face was something akin to horror, and the Aussie was encouraging him by saying, "No, don't SMELL it, you're sposed to EAT it!" *hehehehehehehehehehehe*

Message #132

SAY 'HELLO' TO KP AND SOME OTHER WONDERFUL INDIAN CHRISTIANS!!! - Part 5

... continued from Part 4 "Working Towards Making an Astonishing Difference!!" Part 1 of the Series is Here.

Haa! We ARE getting closer and closer!!! It's an incredible privilege for me to introduce you to just a tiny sample of the amazing Believers and Servants of the Lord Jesus, who've dedicated all of their lives - and are daily risking their lives!! - "to save some". 1) An indigenous Missionary Pastor told THEM about an astonishing Saviour and Lord, and 2) they accepted Him into their lives. 3) The Pastor taught them how to live as a Christian. 4) They eventually caught the vision and decided to follow their mentor into a life-work of taking the Gospel to others in their S.E. Asian country. THIS IS REAL CHRISTIANITY AT WORK - very pleasing to our God!

But there's MORE: 5) They waited for some folks from America or Canada or Australia or England to commit to giving just $30 a month so they would go to Bible College to be fully trained and equipped for the work. 6) Two or three years later they went to a village in another part of the country where the Gospel had NEVER been heard - and 7) commenced to show Jesus to those who had no hope IN THIS LIFE OR THE NEXT!!! *in tears at this point...* 8) They may have won some to the Lord early, or may have laboured for a year or even more, but some DID come to understand the life-changing message being presented to them. 9) Soon they were meeting in a simple village hut to sing and pray and learn and grow in Jesus.

** K.P. Yohannan

Over 25 years ago, IN THE 10/40 WINDOW, this soft-spoken beautiful Indian man began an incredibly unique Missionary Organisation called Gospel for Asia (GFA), of which he is President today. KP as he's affectionately called, is the most gentle, deeply spiritual, insightful, dedicated and visionary Christian man I know! There are now over 25,000 fully-trained Missionaries, or Students in Training in GFA, every day of every year bringing the Gospel to seeking hearts, making converts and teaching them according to Jesus' COMMAND, and planting new churches right throughout the Indian sub-continent and S.E. Asia countries.

** Students train at a local GFA Bible College - then evangelise at weekends!
Their commitment is so amazing.
In fact some even plant their first church during training!!!

** River Baptism showing her faith in Christ: one more Believer in the Kingdom of God!

** A typical home of Pastor and wife in a typical Indian village. They were brought up
in similar conditions and continue to live the same in the village
the Lord called them to minister in.
Thus the incredibly small cost of supporting these amazing emissaries for Christ (see below)!

** Missionary Pastors minister in many different ways. Prayer time with some members of a church family.

** A Believer's Church planted in an Indian village by a Missionary Pastor!
Not all that expensive either…

** One-on-one sharing the good news, using a Gospel tract, VERY effective
in this part of the world. (For $1 you can provide a Pastor with 125 tracts,
printed in India in GFA's massive printing presses)

Gospel for Asia is massive in it's outreach and organisation: above is just a small sample! What's so unique about GFA is that all it's workers are trained, indigenous Christians!! BUT WHY? Quite simple... Being local they already know the customs of the country (VERY important!), they know the language, are used to living in simple relatively poverty conditions, don't take time off, don't need to be flown in and out, or have problems getting their kids schooled, and are 2 or 3 year trained in GFA's own Bible-Colleges right there on the field. Makes sense, right!IT'S A WINNING COMBINATION and a major breakthrough in evangelising the 3 billion in the 10/40 Window!!!

Furthermore, they minister the Gospel for a FRACTION of what it costs a Western Missionary: an astonishingly LOW $1,500 to $2,200 TOTALLY supports a GFA man or woman misho FOR A WHOLE YEAR!!! Can you believe that!!! (Comparative cost for a Western missionary: up to $100,000 per year, total expenses!!) Makes sense, right!!

** The home of an especially poor Dalit family. We can help make a difference
to their abject poverty. But we can also go one better still by helping
an indigenous Missionary Pastor share the Gospel with them - changing their life
FOR ETERNITY!!!

Would you like to meet them in the Lord's Kingdom? You CAN help this to happen!!!

Continued in Part 6 ("Two Interesting Facts - One is Shocking!")...

- BM, with his Beloved

CARING FOR THE LOST IN THE 10/40 WINDOW
