Actually I bin hearin' stories all over the place that things are getting right out of hand here in the Coffee House! - like people putting milk into their Gatinade, doubling up on the amount of beans in their coffee, putting sugar into their Diet Coke, and the list goes on and on. Obviously needs your loving and gentle guiding hand to get things back on track here - before it degenerates into total chaos.... *hee-hee!*

Saw this pic in relation to the current fires in Florida and thought of you, Fluffy, and the service our nation's firefighters give to us day-by-day.

For all the love and support! Maybe I'll be getting back to 'normal' soon!

I gave blood today. The last time was about 10 years ago and I had a reaction in that I barely made it home w/o flat-out dizzying out! Spent the entire weekend recovering. So no more blood letting for me. Well, our school had a blood drive today and the kids asked GG to donate, too. So I said I'd try. Keep in mind I am a "hard stick." So I didn't even know if they'd find a vein and be able to keep the juices flowing. Well, that girl is a real pro. She got me on the first stick and said I was bleeding like a tic. So all was well. That is well, until about 3 hours later when I started a dull headache and slight lightheadedness. So I ate. I drank. I ate. I drank. I went out for a steak dinner !!!! Folks I was giving it a bit of over-kill. I was not going to let the blood-letting get me this time. After all, I had set an example for the kids at school.

Well, about 10 minutes ago I got up and stepped across the room. Legs gave way, head took a spin, and I grabbed on! Well, I've eaten another piece of pie to gain strength and will go to bed soon. Hopefully, I'll wake up tomorrow a.m. with no problems. But......

Please pray that I'll be able to keep my legs and head. My mother is in rehab/nursing home and is very ill with C-diff and I have to go check and see her as well as work at school. So I need strength.

Appreciate it!
