I've been listening to a cd series called "Sin is Emotional" and it is very good. Real eye opener it is!
The Word says in Phillipians, (I think) talking about the church members that are divisive and in strife and he says that "their god is their bellies". Now, in the original language of the scriptures, 'belly' is the seat of the emotions. The heart of a person. So their emotions is their god. Talking about negative emotions: greed, lasciviousness, offense, hate, anger etc.
Very interesting! God has emotions, and we have emotions, but we are not to be RULED by those emotions!
Another interesting point: the girdle of truth in the spiritual armor, guess what it covers??? The belly! Makes ya think, huh?

It's going... but I just keep telling myself I'm too blessed to be stressed!

Had to post and run... oldest grandson spending the night and wanted to beat me at Marvel Scene It! (And he found out that I'm not such an easy win! LOL)

Good morning..

My daughter is here this week-end. I dropped her off to get her hair done this morning and then I called for her and I to have pedicures this afternoon.. It will be great.

When I came home, I logged onto my computer..

On a main page of a site, there was an article about relationships and such and talking about sex in the mid life zone..

It talked about how being ok to look around, enjoy, let your inhibtions go.. and enjoy the casual sex.. etc.. It talked about ways for a young dating couples to enjoy each other bodies etc..

I must say being convicted to my sexual purity, this type of article really appalled me.. I will be honest it did bring feelings back of what it was like to be sexually active and such.. but that was only temporal pleasure where God's love and passion is forever! !!!!!! I will be honest and say it is not easy being sexually pure but so worth it..

It has been a continuing change of life for me.. I have found that through this , Satan has been attacking and trying to get me to believe that I am not beautiful... There has been huge battles going on in my mind which had led me to fill myself with food and such.. which then makes me even feel worse!

I look forward to being done with college in one more week, so more of my time can be focused back on the Word, enjoy the sunshine of each day, and go forth and do the Lord's work.. wherever he leads me..
