Girl, you DO have a load! Thank you, for comin over and checking in. Like I said, been thinking about you and Brett, lately.
Try to get some good sleep tonight. Maybe those storms wont be so bad now that they've dumped some of that energy down here! ha!
I've got to go, too.
Night all!

Hi everyone! Haven't posted here for far too long. Hmm... I'm really really tired, and not sure if that sentence even made sense... But I have caught up on all the 'doings' here! It certainly all seems to be happening in the Coffee House! Such a great place Fluf!! Good company, good sharing, great cuisine - wonderful!

Fabbo to hear about some rain in Texas! - not so great about tornados! Our cyclone season is about finished here Down Under, so hopefully no more of them threatening our coastal towns and cities till the end of the year. Also our fire season is well and truly over for some months as well. (Wanna shift here Fluffy?)

Blessings to all!

Lol, I heard about those storms in Texas, too!

It warmed up in Southern California! It was really overcast for a while, now it's nice, sunny, and clear blue skies.

I kind of want some T-Storms. Can you bag one and ship it over to me? We need some rain, it's really dry over here.

^Take it from NJ--it seems like every time I look outside, the sky is gray and it's ready to downpour. Yesterday, it was 70 degrees and sunny, and absolutely GORGEOUS! I was happy to walk around campus with a few of my friends during one of my breaks.
Now it's all cloudy again and colder today, but MAN, I have spring fever.

Yeah, we had that dip-and-dive weather where one day, it's 85 degrees and sunny, then the next day it's 60 degrees and windy AND cloudy.

Good Morning! Happy Saturday!

Well another chapter of my life has closed.Yesterday was my last day at my old job. Monday I have my preemployment physical at my new job and then on Tuesday I have orientation. I start the new job on April 21st.

The new hospital is providing temporary housing for me. I have not given notice yet at my apartment. My goal is to finish up with college. I have 2 classes to finish up by May 2nd so hopefully I can graduate by June 7th.

I will come home on the week-ends to pack. In the meantime I will search for a new place to rent in my new town. I know the Lord will provide a new place for me to live. Even though there are many blessings with all of this, it is very overwhelming for me.

Satan knows my weaknesses, better yet I know my weaknesses.. ie.. overeating and not exercising and a tendency to not love myself. I have let myself slip into some old habits these past few months, using the stress as an excuse. Today is a new day. I gather my strength from the Lord.

I got a copy of my MRI. There is no mass or tumor. Praise the Lord! There is something called a Vascular Loop and I am waiting to hear from the doctor exactly what this means.

Life is good. I learned alot from my past job and I know what not to do in my new job. Organization and me are strangers. I heard on our Christian station last night, that we need to take 15 minutes a day in our homes to work on getting organized. You take 3 garbage bags,.. one marked throw away, one marked give a way and one marked keep. They need to be dark bags, so you cannot see and change your mind!..

I am so thankful for the Forum and all of my friends here! You all have strengthened me these past few months!

In regards to the tornados and storms.. I am very fearful of thunderstorms as back in 1985 there were 2 that came through a town I lived in PA.. it was an awful thing. My home was not affected but I worked at a local hospital and was there for 48 hours. .while victims and such were brought in.. not something I ever want to go through again.

Have a wonderful week-end all
God Bless!
Robin

Hey, Bondman! I would absolutely LOVE to visit DownUnder! That would be wonderful! But I would want to come back home, where the grandbabies are. You know how it is! hee!

Hey, Faithwoman! Great news about your MRI! God is good! The Vascular Loop thing sounds familiar, but I cant remember what it is. I think it has something to do with veins growing together and making a loop, like in big towns with the highways looping and passing over each other.

Talk about strange weather! A couple of weeks ago, we had hot, windy, then the next day it was SNOWING! Of course, it didnt stick, but sheesh!
Now, its back to hot and windy.

But SPRING is in the air! The trees are budding, flowers are blooming! The mesquite trees are leafing out, that means no more frost for the rest of the year! yay! Now, if it would just slow down long enough for me to get out and get a garden set up!
