Our rain is over, boo hoo. But it was nice while it lasted! We hope to get more next week.

Oof! You can have mine, then! It's been raining here all day.

Well, I'm on spring break this week, but I reaaaaaaally don't want to start my papers for school... ah well. They must be done! I still have at least a month before they're due, but I'm trying to get a head start.

Other than that, I'm pretty happy and contented in the life God has given me.

Hi there... ok I do not want to whine.. I just need to say I feel overwhemled and stressed. Yes God has blessed me sooooooooo much these past few months and weeks.. but I really feel like I am about if not already entering a rocky storm..

I gave notice at old job.. and now I have tons to do there and tons of paperwork and projects to get done.. I started rooting out my stuff there.. and then I have my apartment here to get organized and done.. with stuff everywhere.. and I am taking 2 classes in college right now which I have to finish by May 2nd.. and I am way behind there.. the town I am moving to is hour and half away and I am trying to find housing there.. the list goes on..
and Satan knows my weaknesses.. I am in a battlefied of the mind right now.

and soooooooooooo much junk is trying to get in my head.. and then I thought now was the time to give the smoking up to the Lord.. ok .. so you see.. any words of wisdom would be great.. I have gotten t hrough so much before with the Lord.. and I know I will get through all of this as well.. but needless to say.. I feel my boat is rocking pretty hard right now.. even with all of the blessings..

Well, for right now, I'm a Liberal Arts & Sciences Major, but I'm thinking I might want to go into Theology or something.

I am still trying to figure it out, but I know I want to learn the Truth (who is Jesus!) and teach others to follow Him.

May God strengthen you in this time of trial, and may His presence console you and bring peace into your life. I will pray for you.

I think you might a cup of hot chocolate more than me, and maybe a hug or two.

Offer this time up to Jesus, who will help you come closer to Him.

I could never figure out what I wanted to do after I finished High School. Now, I am a stay at home grandmother, and loving it! I hope, ExCordiChristi, that you find your path. You have alot going for you, your whole future ahead of you. Learning about Jesus is a wonderful pursuit! Enjoy!

Hey, Faithwoman! You've got a LOT of stress coming down on you, right now. Are you sure you need to stop smoking right now? If God is telling you to do so, then by all means, lets get after it. But if He says its ok, why not back off on that for awhile, at least until you get settled into your new job and new place? Quitting smoking is stressful in and of itself. You dont need that added onto what your going thru already.

Well, it was a nice break, but we are back to fires! We had 2 yesterday. We are expecting rain again Saturday night.
Please pray for the people in the Midwest that are experiencing flooding.

Oh boy do any others think that this is a season of challenges ... I understand where you are comming from Faithwoman. I have stepped up to the plate so to speak by answering the call to enter training to become a Stephen Minister. Boy oh boy is The Evil One working overtime to try and discourage me. I think I'll have to go and "suck some carpet" (ie Silversheepism for laying prostrate before the Lord).
