Good morning, it's 3:30 am here. Got to bed early last night and here I am up early bright eyed and bushy tails.lol I love to read and look at old relics too. When my daughters and I go on vacations we love to look around old cemetaries and read the tombstones. It's fascinating what is written on some of them.

I love old cemeteries too. The last time we went I found a couple old bottles and odds and ends at the creek by the cemetary~

Fluffy, my friend ~

I read this the other day and first it brought tears to my eyes and then immediately I thought of you and your love of dancing before the Lord and it brought more tears to my eyes!

G U I D A N C E
Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness
from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
"God, "u" and "i" dance"

God, you, and I dance

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.

Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
Interceding in prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards!
So, let's continue to pray for one another.

And I Hope You Dance!

Thanks, Dusty! I had read it before as well... probably several times over the years... but somehow, for some reason, it really impacted me this time and I appreciate that the Lord will continue to offer opportunities to receive His blessings, revelation, encouragement, strength, hope, fellowship, etc. ~ whatever we happen to need at the moment ~ if we are receptive to receiving it!

Hey Fluffy.....

Going wonderful. Wish you could come to my church. We dance all the time but to me like I said the Sellah dancers are so well .......all I can say is heavenly as they float around in their long white gowns. We also have people who dance with flags as well. To me I am sure God is so pleased as He loves His people to worship in song and dance.

Hey, SlavetoChrist! Do you work nights? Or just stay up late? I used to work nights, and I did not get up before 3 pm! thank you!

Oh, Dusty, I would love to come to your church and watch them dance! I've only heard about others dancing, never really seen anybody live. One of the ladies at my church has a tape of Jewish dances, but I am sure it is not exactly like the first church, but I'm sure its closer than anything we could come up with! ha!
We use pieces of materials you might call scarves to dance with. I've seen people with banners that were awesome! Someone said that there were people on Youtube that danced, but I dont know how to find it. Do you? I'd love to see some of it!
