I am gonna go have some supper I reckon, and maybe even get drastic and think about hitting the hay for the first time in the New Year.

Hope you have a good day! (Keep thinking about your Team!!) See you in 2008.

Blessings to all!

Well enjoy your supper and your first sleep of 2008 I'm thinking about breakfast.

I wanted to tell you at the other thread that I understand not likeing football lol Brett - doesn't like it (he is a soccer man) but it tolerates it for me - I think our sport preferences has a lot to do with the culture we are raised in and I was raised on football and baseball

I know what you mean about walking by yourself. I dont have anyone around here to join me, either. But then, we cant go too far because I need to be able to respond quickly to a fire call.
I do have a DVD of Dancing Off the Inches! I might try actually doing it, instead of just watching! ha!
Those kinda videos are fun! I do an at home walking video - its a mile in like 15 minutes or 2 miles in 30 minutes

AMANDA!!! WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!
So good to see you! I love your new pic!
Personally, I dont like football, basketball, or autoracing, all of which my hubby loves. I'd rather watch figure skating or gymnastics, something with some grace and beauty. Well, HE thinks theres' grace and beauty in a touchdown, or a slam dunk......sigh, to each his own, I guess.
Hey! I like those New Years Resolutions, Bondman! Sounds like something we can do. The weight loss thing is not really a resolution. (Maybe if I say that, it'll last longer! ha!)
Do you think Blankgirl will come over? That dinner she did was so wonderful! I'm not kidding when I say I get teary eyed watching her grow in the Lord!
We had fire number one this morning (4:30AM!), still waiting on fire number 2. We had planned on going to my daughter's house for New Years, but we are putting off the trip until tomorrow. Got firetrucks to repair. (busted radiator in one [truck vs. tree limb, not good] busted window in another [window vs. tree limb, not good, either!] We had to bust thru some brush to get to the fires. Better to break something on the truck that can be repaired, than lose a house!
Happy New Year, everybody!

Happy New Year, everybody!

Hi Fluffy *giggle* it will take awhile to get used to the new name Honestly I got into football cause I thought it would be a way to get closer to my dad and now I love the sport - I also grew up with it. My daddy was on the TN state championship team back in 197something :P and my younger brother has played since he could walk. I like the more graceful sports as well - I was on dance team at my high school and we were one of the best in our district (per the other dance teams )

Happy New Year and stay safe while battling fires

Sorry about the font size in above post. Got enthusiastic!
Found a study I did awhile back. Kind of interesting.
These are some of the things Jesus did while here on earth:
Turned water to wine John 2:1-11
Heal from a distance John 4:50, Matt 8:13, John 11:50
Heal by touching Mark 1:34
Authority over weather Matt 8:26, Mark 4:33
Deliverance from demons Matt 8:28, Matt 17:14, mark 1:25,34, Mark 5
Raising the dead Matt 9:23-25, Luke 7:14, John 11:43
Multiply food Matt 15:29-38 Mark 6:39
Walk on water Matt 14:25
Talk to Moses and Elijah Luke 9:32
Wither trees Mark 11:20
Heal without touching Mark 2:11, Mark 10:52, Luke 17:14, John 5:8
Deliverance from demons without touching Mark 7:29, Mark 9:24
Fishing John 21:6

Then we read: John 14:12-14: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

Hmmm, now why cant we do these things? Jesus said we could!
