I was just cruising around, checking some of my favorite webcomics before turning into bed. when I saw a newspost on one.
Basically, it seems that the Christian Childrens Fun charity rejected a donation from the GenCon Charity Auction of roughly $17,000 because some of the money was raised by the sale of Dungeons and Dragons game materials.
It just saddens me that people will have to suffer because others do not like the people who are trying to help.
And what makes it twice as aggrivating is the fact that Christian Children's Fund was Gary Gygax's, the man who invented D&D, favorite charity.

That is sad, Richard.
Maybe they felt that it was like the "meat offered to idols" and they could not take part in it... I am not sure if that is the most godly way to deal with it... I agree with you, the ones that were not blessed by it are the children. blessings, worshipper |
