Military Wife

I wear no uniforms, no blues or army greens. But I am in the military in the ranks rarely seen. I have no rank upon my shoulders, salutes I do not give. But the military world is the place where I live.

I'm not in the chain of command, orders I do not get. But my husband is the one who does, this I cannot forget. I'm not the one who fires the weapon, who puts my life on the line. But my job is just as tough. I'm the one that's left behind.

Welcome 2008! I was blessed to ring it in with my mom, brother, and stepdad as well as while I was talking to my husband. May 2008 be filled with blessings from God, love, friendship, and wonderful memories.

A short call - a short blog

*sigh* the blessing is I got to talk to him but it was a really short call we decided on a few things and then the call ended. O well at least I heard from him.

I am having one of those rough days that I would rather forget. Brett's laptop battery died and so we had to order him a new one I was shocked and happy for it to be delievered today (yay for having a dell factory in state) so I was going to mail it out this afternoon. *sigh* At the post office I couldn't find the custom forms and the line was out the door. So I decided to go to one of the other post offices but it was closed. So okay I decided I would take care of it early Wednesday morning because...
