I have my back surgery at 11:30 in the morning. Not looking too forward to not being able to eat or drink all morning long. It will be nice to have a release from some of this back pain though. Hopefully the pain from the surgery won't be too intense.
I will try to get back on as soon as I feel up to it.
I pray that my family endures this well. I hate not being able to help out around the place. My boys are being real troopers though. If you can't tell by now I am pretty proud of the little guys.

11:30 am surgery....wow, I am just reading this now at 11:40. I said a prayer for you as you are now going through your surgery. I pray that everything goes well. Get well soon!

Well I had my surgery today. I was given quite a shock afterwards.
Come to find out my "situation" was a lot worse than anticipated. My disc was really messed up. Sounds like it had been for years (possibly a weird birth defect that happens in like 10 percent of people). I haven't spoken with the doctor, this is just the story I am getting from my family members. So, I can't lift more than a gallon of milk for like 8 weeks. OK I expected that one. But now the other unexpected stuff. Due to the amount of damage in my back, I may never be able to haul hay, go for a jog, or play softball again. I am 33 years old. I really need prayers, this is upsetting me as I type. What am I going to do? I need to stop now. I may type more later. |
