Faith in a child

After listening to the piece from Logan that brother Larry had posted in reminded me of something that happened like that in my own family. A couple of years ago my wife was sitting with our oldest son going through some kids paper or magazine that they were reading. Anyhow, it was close to Thanksgiving and there was a question in there about what are you most thankful for. So she asked him "Caleb what are you most thankful for?" He was only about 4 yrs old and she assumed he would say something about his dog or horse or even family. But the answer brought us all to tears. Without missing a beat he replied "the day that I found out Jesus died for me." I truly feel that children share a relationship with Jesus that we can only imagine. They haven't been subjected to all the junk that this world throws at us and their hearts are so pure and full of love.
