Hi Beloved children of the Lord,
![]() I am asking advice for anxiety, biblical and other because I have recently met so many women and men at Church including the Pastor who suffer with this... I had a bad case of it as well at one time... I hope those Old and New members here who suffer as well, may find help through us by His Spirit... So shoot ![]()

This is a little strange!
Sorry, i guess i should elaborate a little..If i can, not easy. I knew the Lord wanted me to find fellowship with other Christians, as ive said. I didnt expect it to be related to my own experiences. Im really suprised Lord!! But similar to what Violet said, for me it was only prayer and getting saved that my anxiety has been like 80% cured in the last couple of months. And i swear that is the truth. Praise the Lord !

Luk 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Luk 12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? Luk 12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Worrying and stressing do not profit our soul. God invites us to enter His rest by faith. Worship music, prayer , reading His Word- all these things help us to position ourselves in faith to receive the peace we need in our lives. So then let us began to see the things that stress us as opportunites to trust God. Let His praise fill our lips and let us sings songs of His faithfullness and deliverance- soon our problems will not pull us down but we indeed will be instead filled with great joy. A wise man once said we must see with heavens eyes. Standing in fromt of our mountain of difficulty it may seem quite large. But when we mount up on eagles wings the higher we fly the smaller that mountain looks. Let us began to see with heavens eyes. So then our battles become more of proper perspective and simple faith. God is good, God is willing, God is able. Many blessings in Jesus mighty Name, brother Larry. |

I think anxiety is brought on by circumstances of our outside world. Job stress, relationship stress, financial stress, all these and more come into play. I think that "letting go and letting God" is one of the hardest lessons for us to learn. Once we truly let it go and let God guide us, then we find the peace and the freedom from anxiety. It's difficult, but it can be done.
I go crazy sometimes with my job, and wind up all stressed out, edgy, and grumpy. When I realize that I am at that point, I just take a break. Because we have our own business, we can just take a day off to spend with the Lord. Not everyone can do that, so I have suggested to people before -- take a half hour and just be with God. Just be with Him. Pray and let your feelings out and give it over to Him, or at least try. It may take many times before you can really release everything to Him. Cry. Yell. Fuss. God speaks many, many languages, and He is especially good with the language of AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!stress! He really is. I hope this helps. Peace and blessings, Joyce

But i just wanted to focus on that one point ive quoted for now, Ive always been a believer, but a few months ago before i was truely saved if i had of read that post and that part of it, i really could not have imagined how what you said above could be so, i guess if i think back im trying to explain a feeling of something like feeling so bad that surely its just all me, why would God want to and how could he just take it all away? why would i have to feel that way in the first place? I hope you understand what im trying to say. It would just seem impossible.(probably would have been easyer if i had just said that!) But wow, how true those words are!! i think sometimes about all these creationists and historical stuff (which is all very interesting) really trying to prove God exists. We know he does, for what he has done for me is truely a miracle i feel. And knowing the Lord and the Joy he brings to me every single day since i gave myself to him, wow i just cant find any more words...I'l trust in the Lord you know what im saying. All my stress and strain i let get on top of me, all the wrong decisions i made that made things worse and he just took it away like it was nothing, everyday im amazed by his power and sometimes i thank him for not only what he has done for me, but also for more than proving his existence to me! Praise you Awesome God !! Also, that was a wonderfull post Joyce too!!

I find anxiety to be just one of many roadsigns ( stress, burnout, frustation, etc) in life that all point to one thing- We need to stop trying to live our lives and walk our walks in our own srtength. His yoke is easy, His burden is light, His power is sure and His peace and joy run deep.
