He is speaking to the sinner~
What we would first ask and receive of Christ would be salvation.

WE ARE ALL SINNERS, saved by grace.

I disagree with you.

We do not become "instantly pure holy and sinless when we are saved".

We still have evil thoughts and still sin.

Sinners saved by grace.

No one is sinless but when we receive salvation we are not evil!

As I see it, We may be Saved, But our hearts still desire Sin. Our hearts are still evil.

He was talking to sinners and WE ARE ALL SINNERS !!!

18And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

( since JESUS IS GOD JESUS IS GOOD )

( since we are not GOD we are not good )

Final thought >>>> NO ONE IS GOOD EXCEPT GOD !!!!!!!

( that makes us evil rebellious children saved by grace )
