Sevenfold blessings of Abraham.
Gn 12:1-4. 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 1.I will make you into a great nation. 2.I will bless you. 3.I will make your name great. 4.You will bea blessing. 5.I will bless those who bless you. 6.Whoever curses you I will curse. 7.All peoples on earth will be blessed in you. Gn 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. {moveth: Heb. creepeth} Three conditions. 1.Leave your country. 2.Leave your poeple. 3.Leave your old associations. Abraham obeyed God's word, prompt obeidence grounded in faith. Heb 11: 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Joshua 20:7 And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and
Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah. 20:8 And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. There were six of these cities. All of these names tell us something about the Lord jesus Christ, who is our refuge. Kedesh - "holy place, sacred, consecrated." See Hebrews 12:14. Without holiness you cannot see God. How holy are you? We are given our holiness by the Lord Jesus Christ. It is imputed. Shechem - "strength, shoulder, burden." See Isaiah 9:6. Christ is our strength. He carries us when we are weak. Hebron - "united, joined together, communion." Christ provides us with fellowship and satisfaction. Bezer - "cut off, fortification, inaccessible." Christ is our security. We have a hiding place. See Proverbs 18:10. He will hold you. You are secure. Ramoth - " exaltation, heights, heavenly." See Acts 2:33. Jesus is exalted at the right hand of God. He is our sovereign. He is our King. Golan - "circle, circuit, hedged or walled in." Christ is my sanctification. He makes me different from the world. See 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
