SC: i never understood blasphemy. I guess the ¨O¨ comes from the supprise of the event in question, the ¨God¨ part comes from their want to blaspheme but i dont know why they say ¨my¨

Seriously Mike when I hear folks say that I usually just tell them that " He does not use your name in vain".

If they start cursing and carrying on I usually let out a loud Hallelujah!
Those generally make them stop and think.
