I don’t think I ever mentioned this, but I use to call myself an agnostic. When things were real bad in my life, I called myself an atheist, but then I would start cursing a God that I said didn’t exist. (doesn‘t make much sense, does it?) And when I ended up in the back seat of a squad car… I would start making deals with God. “If you get me out of this one God… I promise I’ll be good.”

I strongly believe that I’m still alive because God’s not done with me yet. I can’t tell you how many times I almost died. I definitely wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. Sometimes I was dumber than a bag full of Stanley hammers. (that‘s pretty dumb)

Its amazing that you can have the most staunch atheist get into peril for thier life and they start calling on God to help them.

They know in their hearts there is a God. They just refuse to acknowledge Him.
I pray that someone that can witness to them in just the right way would come along side them and show them the truth.
