The word of God makes it clear that not everything preached within the walls of the church are truth. This may sound very disturbing. Jesus warned His disciples 13 times in the Gospels to be aware of leaders within the Church
Mat 7:15; 16:6,11; 24:4,24;
Mark 4:24; 8:15; 12:38-40; 13:5
Luke 12:1; 17:23; 20:46; 21:8

These last days are marked by current ever-increasing wickedness in the world, an almost total collapse of morality and increase of false believers and ministers within the church.

"Beloved, belive not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world." -1 John 4:1

Yes, test the spirits. Do they draw you toward Jesus? or toward themselves?

Yes, we're told to try the spirits because not all of them are of God.
If a spirit is telling you something that is not backed up in the Word then it is a false spirit.

Yes, I so much agree...

I know that one of the lies in this Church age is you must speaks in Tongues to be saved or a sign of salvation...

I know there are some strong opinions on both sides of the camp...


I've studied Tongues in Scripture, and am convinced there is much confusion of this topic...

But I also witness that some people who speak in tongues are cold, un-loving, distant, rude, and even blasphemise...

While those that don't are opposite...

BTW I speak in tongues so I know it is a true gift...

I believe you shall know them by their fruits , not by their tongues...
