So true, smellycat. However, those children then grow up to become so-called adults and so can go the perpetual "It's not my fault, its how I was raised" argument... until each one takes responsibility for their own actions and recognizes the impact of their own influence, don't you agree?
I thank God for a teaching I received a while back that had a little story in it. It was that story that the Lord used to teach me that I am solely responsible for my example and that I can choose to be for someone else what I felt I didn't get from my own parents, leaders, etc. Thank God that my daughter also received this teaching and isn't holding my failures and faults against me or using them to excuse her own!

God's grace is sufficient - especially when we keep pride and the pity-pot at bay! (My temptations especially!)
