Default The call of the saved pt 2

As we continue, on the theme , The call of the saved, we were looking at a few of the blessings from the blood of christ, that God viewed as benefits for the elect IN HIS ETERNAL MIND before the world began, or from the foundation [ The beginning] of the world.
The elect have redemption by the blood of christ. To redeem something means to :
a releasing effected by payment of ransom
a) redemption, deliverance
b) liberation procured by the payment of a ransom
The election of grace has been released from captivity, by the payment of a ransom, they have been delivered..
Jesus message is
lk 4:
18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Amen, Jesus has by his blood delivered those he died for from the captivity of the devil.
2 tim 2:

25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
This means, those held in spiritual darkness and ignorance being captive by the devil, will come to experience the reality of the power of the blood of christ, delivering them from satans captivity..
Christ will open up the eyes of their understanding..
So they no more will beieve a lie, but the truth as it is in christ Jesus..
Secondly, in the blood of christ is forgivenss of sins..
Forgiveness is =
aphesis which means:

release from bondage or imprisonment
2) forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty
All those for whom christ shed His blood have forgiveness of sins, no penalty to pay..
The third blessing, is Justification by his blood.
The word for justified as in rom 5 9
is
dikaioô which means:
to render righteous or such he ought to be
2) to show, exhibit, evince, one to be righteous, such as he is and wishes himself to be considered
3) to declare, pronounce, one to be just, righteous, or such as he ought to be
To be declared pronounced righteous because of the blood of christ..
These blessings In the Mind of God occured in eternity, premised on a in time event, the cross of calvary, yet because Gods view of events occur in one simutaneous whole outside the relm of time, In His Mind, the in time event and all its attending blessings to those attended, has already transpired in His Mind, though not as yet in the minds of those to whom are to experience them in time..
But the gospel of God to which I am called to preach, sets forth the gospel from Gods perspective, therefore,
The gospel call is to them that are saved, the power of God.
lets look at 1 cor 1:
18For the preaching of the cross[ The gospel] is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
The foolishness is because, those perishing, the non elect, the children of perdtion..cannot understand or recieve the Gospel from Gods eternal perspective, its absolutely foolishenss to them..
But to the saved and to the called it is the power of God..
1 cor 1:

23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Notice how 2 tim 1 9
9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
is used by paul to express the same eternal truthes in 1 cor 1 18,and vs 24..
The gospel, The gospel of God, is a call to those who are saved in the Mind of God, because of the blood of the cross..
