Faithwoman is on a distinguished road
Default A reminder

As I read the airplane story it reminded me of something I had written back in February of 2005 when I was renting one home and needed to find a different place to live and my daughter and I went one evening out to search as we were having problems with our current landlord. There was a gentleman that was fixing up a house on the corner. His own home was 3 hours from the one he was working on.

A HOUSE TO BE BUILT

Little did he know
When he was called
To come and rebuild a home
How much more he would be building

A knock came on the door
Excuse me dear carpenter
Are you from here?
No I am sorry I am not
I am from afar

She spoke I am looking for
A home to rent
I am sorry he said
This one is not ready
Nor do I know if it
Will be rented

She took her daughter’s hand
Together they searched the land
Looking for a place to call home

You see they had one
But there was strife between
Two there

As they searched one was found
Thinking this was the one
We will take it they said

A voice spoke the next day
Take a look
You have asked me to show you
About finances
Go to my house and
Pastor Paula will help you see

So off she went and met
With Pastor
The voice was so right
The home that her and her daughter
Searched for on the land
They could not afford

She went in tears
Back to that carpenter man
Between tears
She asked what am I to do?

Humility is what is needed
Not an easy task
But can be done
And with casting out your
Fears to the great one
It will all come together

She took those words
Asked for guidance
Made the call
Forgiveness was given
By both
That on days before
There was strife between

She was so excited the next day
To tell the carpenter man
It worked! It worked!

So off she went
With happiness in her heart
To share the good news

He too had news to share
Here have a seat
On this bucket of mine
I will tell you more

She sat on the bucket
In the chilly room
Amongst the boards
And the sawdust

He brought forth
His pocket bible
To share the good news
So many words were shared
From Romans, to Colossians
Thessalonians to Luke
And many more

She asked again
The next day
How do I go on?
How do I work through the Pain?

She had learned that Christ
Had gone through so
Much suffering for her
That she too has to feel the pain

The “bucket” man
Said it like this

“Envision an airplane
Staying on course
Staying at an even altitude
You must to do the same
Think of your faith
Every second
I mean every second
For if you lose the faith
Your plane of your life’s journey
Will come crashing down
On earth
Or may even go off into space somewhere”

She went home that night
And gave thanks
For God putting such
A carpenter of faith
In her life journey

From him she has learned
So much
So much that she has
Now picked up the good news
And started reading
from the beginning to end

She is now learning
What life is all about
How exciting this journey
Has been
Since December 14th
The day she gave it all
Take me and do with me
What you will dear Lord

So many miracles
Have come into her life
By her having the faith
And trust

To the good Lord, Jesus Christ
Holy Spirit, Pastor Paula
Family and Friends
And especially
That “Bucket Man”

I say Thank you!!!!
God Bless you all!

And to Paul
As your journey
Leads you in many paths
May you always know
You not only came
To rebuild a home
You were sent to
Rebuild my faith

As the final walls go
Up on that little house
On the corner of life
How gratifying it can be
To know you built
Something even so much stronger
Than a foundation of a home
You helped build and
Create my walk with the Lord!!
