It is pretty interesting. Although I left a "simple church" and embraced a "traditional" one. I personally believe that it's the exact opposite. These people leaving for the "simple churches" are still searching and I don't think they'll find satisfaction and ultimate happiness in all the good feeling stuff.
From what I've noticed with these "simple churches," they lack a lot of substance and more emphasis is put on feeling and how it makes them feel to worship God, not how God wants us to worship Him. That's my 2 cents on the matter.
