Haha, one of my English teachers once told me that one.
It spells "fish." I forgot why the "gh" makes an "f" sound, but the "o" makes an "i" sound in "women," and the "ti" makes an "sh" sound in words like "motion"
Yes, I've played kick the can. It's very fun.
But what's even more fun is capture the flag with 20 people at night on a big property. That was awesome.
