The church loves blue hair on the little old ladies. But not on a 16 year-old teen who looks like he's just crawled out of a tackle box. Then we're not so sure about that.
What is it about people who are different than us that we just aren't comfortable with? People with different looks, different opinions and different backgrounds often make us uncomfortable. When will we begin to understand that God loves the people we consider weird just as much as He loves us? He loves the pierced, tattooed, the black, the white and the foreign.
Is God really interested it those type of people? I think you'll be surprised by the answer.
