There are a few in Proverbs that mention gossip. But the following is the closest I know of. Here, Jesus is telling Peter pretty much to mind his own business in relationship to what another does in following Jesus.
Joh 21:20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
Joh 21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Joh 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
There is some places in the N T were thngs were said and/ or done with obvious concern for privacy (as in removed public veiw).
Secrecy is often a sign of wrong doing. Those who do right have little fear of condemnation or need of privacy, except in relationship to nakedness.
Prayer appears to be the one exception to this in that we are told to pray privately.
Blessings
